Movie Night!
The leather jacket gleams in the moonlight, and the ripped jeans add to his tuff exterior. This is a greaser, a hoodlum, a character in The Outsiders.
Last Friday night the 8th graders had a movie night where we watched “The Outsiders”. From the beginning of the year, the 8th graders have been reading “The Outsiders” by S.E Hinton, a story of Ponyboy Curtis and his struggles with right and wrong in a society in which he believes he is an outsider.
Surya says this about the movie: “I think the movie was good but there were some parts that weren’t good, since it was an old movie. I liked how people came dressed up like a greaser and a soc.”
