In case you didn't know 2024 is a leap year which means that unlike normal years the Summer Olympics are happening. This year the competitions will be held in Paris, France with a host of new events making their Olympic Debut along with Women now finally making up 50% of participating athletes compared to the 5% of competing women back when the Olympics was created. Below are the events for 2024's Summer Olympics with many newcomers such as breaking, sport climbing, skateboarding and surfing
This year there will be around 10,5oo athletes competing in the Olympics this year and all of them have a chance at winning. It will be an amazing competition and I wish all athletes the best of luck. Will you be watching? I know I will.
