Super Streaming Service

Being stuck at home during any and all free time means that your TV is most likely getting a lot of use, but with so many choices of streaming services, which one is the best for you to watch? We will compare average rating, amount of shows, and popularity to determine which streaming service is the best overall. Now there are far too many services available for us to choose from, so we’re only going to look at Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+.

According to foxbusiness.com Prime Video has 12,828 pieces of media and an average IMDB rating of 7.49/10. According to whats-on-netflix.com Netflix has 5,817 pieces of content and an average rating of 7.11/10. According to disneyplus.com Disney+ has over 600 pieces of media and an average rating of 7.38/10 on IMDB. We can see that after this Prime Video is pulling ahead of the others with the highest ratings and amount of content to watch.

Prime Video (150 users million according to amazon) and Netflix (167.1 million users according to businessofapps.com) are both very popular and more popular than Disney+ (86.8 million according to variety.com), by quite a bit. Now another big factor is not just the service but the popularity of the shows on it. Lucifer is Netflix’s most popular show, with a rating of 8.1/10 on IMDB, Disney+’s most popular show is The Mandalorian with an IMDB rating of 8.8/10, and Prime Video’s most popular The Good Doctor with a rating of 8.2/10. Off of the popularity it seems Disney+ is the most popular and the popular shows are the best.

So what service is the best? If you want a lot of content that can be very ranged in quality, you should go with Prime Video. If you want a very popular service with a medium amount of content you should go to Netflix. And if you want less content that is on average better rated, you should get Disney+. All are good options, and whatever you think will work best for you is what you should go with.
