Humans of Middle School: Anadita

“When I was about 8 or 9 years old, my [dance] teacher, Mr. Fernando, he was teaching a class, he was showing us a turn that we obviously couldn’t do because it was too difficult. This part of his leg, when he was turning the foot out, the bone slipped out, and we could see his bone. The other teacher was just shell shocked, and wasn’t doing anything about it. So imagine a bunch of little girls in a room in their pink little tutus, seeing their teacher screaming in agony, because his bone was out of his leg. And the other teacher doing absolutely nothing about it because she was scared of blood. I found it kind of cool because I got to see a bone in real life.“ See more stories from #Cooper
