“I enjoy math because I understand it well. I enjoy doing the problems, which makes math more fun. It’s just like a sport, if you can do a sport well then you enjoy the sport more, its the same with math. I tried out for math counts partly because I enjoy doing math and also because I wanted to do more extracurricular activities. When I won the [Math Counts] championship last year, I felt shocked. I didn’t think I would win. I thought there were people there [Dubai] who were much better than me, but I ended up winning.” #HumansofMiddleSchool
