New Teachers Of Middle School 2025/26: Ms. Luebbe

Ms. Luebbe, Grade 6 EAL teacher Ms Luebbe taught most grades (K-5) in elementary, and she was an elementary counselor for a few years, too. She has been teaching for 33 years. Before coming to AES, she was teaching in Shanghai, China. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. #1- Any fun facts about you? My husband and I have three daughters, and our youngest graduated from AES in 2022. Another fun fact is that I once found a baby in an Osaka zoo who had wandered away from its mother and was heading straight for a lake! Baby saved by Luebbe! #2- If you could eat only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cereal has never let me down.  I could live on Frosted Mini Wheats, Cap'n Crunch, and Grape Nuts. If cereals weren't unavailable, I could eat a grilled cheese every day and not complain.   #3- What was your worst subject in school? Math- If only I had teachers like we have in MS at AES, I am sure I would have learned to embrace the joy of mathematics! #4- Any favourite books?  I love Eva Ibottson's book,  The Secret of Platform 13. #5- What's your favourite vacation spot?  Favourite Vacation Spot: NYC.
