ISA tests are being held on Thursday and Friday. ISA is the International School Assessment, a test designed specifically for international schools. It is conscious of multicultural perspectives and recognizes a diverse community. Don’t worry! This won’t appear on your report cards. They are just used to inform programs and help faculty support the students.
Unlike the MAP test, which is held at the beginning and end of the year, it is a written test, covering narrative and argumentative writing. The tests will be held from 8:30 to 9:30, with the narrative on Thursday and argumentative on Friday. You’ll be arranged in classrooms based on your English period and will be given 10 minutes to prepare and brainstorm with the class before it begins. Make sure to get 8 to 10 hours of sleep the night before, along with a healthy breakfast and a fully charged laptop. You’ll be reminded that you must disable Grammarly before the test begins. Good luck!
