We all know what parties are, but I think the real definition of a great party was the second ms social! We as students love school but we also love to party! This was just the thing for us. It was such a great party that when I arrived 20 minutes early there was already a line! The eighth graders organised a efficient way of ticket payment by making them online. Lots of people payed early to get it out of the way online and the system turned out to be successful.

When I arrived 20 minutes before I was quite surprised when there was already a line. I waited till the Social started and the single line was from the entrance to the eighth grade hallway all the way down the stairs to next to the admissions office. When it was time I was welcomed by two patient adults and a eighth grader. They had an efficient way of cutting down the long line because of the amazing online system. When I was inside I noticed that the planning committee had done a good job decorating. There were many nice snowflakes and craft decorations all over the dance floor and hallway.

The dance floor may have looked simple, but it is where most of the fun came. Our middle school DJs Arjun and Ronan were also there do give us some nice beats. It was Ronans birthday so we all gave him a great cheer for him. For the people who didn’t want to dance they had options of watching movies or playing ping pong. The movies were Frozen, and a Christmas Carol. The food was great and was in the Christmas spirit with hot chocolate and marshmallows. Even the people working for the school were wearing Christmas hats. As for the dance was like a nuclear bomb. Everybody was letting go completely and dancing their legs off.

During the dance there was great competition for the ugliest sweater. They brought a red carpet as the famous contestants walked on the carpet showing their skills. It was not only students who walked on the carpet, but also teachers like Mr. Currey, Mr. Fuji and Mr. de oliveira.I think it was so fun that we forgot it was a competition! There was also a photo booth to keep your own memories. After the party we were all so tired from laughing, dancing, and singing to songs. The winter wonderland social was great way to interact and was extremely fun. I actually was able to enjoy with new friends. Tell me what your favourite part of the Social was!
