“I made alternate last year for Basketball. I got the experience of playing with the team last year, but this year I get to play in the tournament soon! It’s one step up. To make a team you firstly have to be perseverant – there are days when you feel like, “I don’t think I did my best” and “I feel like I could’ve done better.” You also need to be coachable. You’re gonna make mistakes. There might be things you do one way but are meant to be done differently, and you need to fix what needs to be fixed.”
