“My parents have been working with Kailash Satyarthi, the man who rescues children from factories, for quite some time now. I visit the ashram where they stay. Seeing Mr. Satyarthi has really inspired me to help other children. My family and I also visit a child orphanage once a month, where we bring food, and we interact with the children. From all these experiences, I have realized that these children don’t have many of the privileges that we do, and I think that these children should be getting the privileges that we have. I am not doing these activities for the service award, I want to make a difference in these children’s lives. The Vivekananda and the Hope Kids deserve privileges as much as we deserve them. Seeing them happy makes me happy.”
