“During Covid, we went from China to South Africa for what was supposed to be two weeks, and it ended up being about eight months. This was because we went to the airport to go to India. We did this whole thing where we were in the hotel lobby for 3 hours, then we went to the airport, and the dogs sniffed our bags, and we went to the checkout line. It was empty in the airport and they wouldn't let us on the plane because we didn't have the right documents. We had packed all our stuff, and we even packed cold meat, and we didn't unpack our bags for a month and a half, so when we got back to India, all the cold meat was moldy. Covid has shaped a lot of people.”
